Vinibuoni d'Italia is the Touring Club Italiano monographic guide that covers wines produced exclusively from indigenous grape varieties in our country. In the 2016 edition, the thirteenth, the guide edited by Mario Busso confirms itself as a mature and quality publishing product, managing to give sound advice to even the most experienced consumers.
Organized into 23 chapters dealing with the wine production of each region (Trentino and Alto-Adige are separate and the neighboring region of Istria has been added) for each chapter the following are given in alphabetical order the best labels that vinify to 100% from native grape varieties. More than 25 thousand wines were tasted to compile the guide, from which the best 4,300 were chosen, of which only 652 received the highest score, the 4 stars.
From consulting the guide, it is easy to deduce the top ten best proseccos in Italy. It dominates unchallenged the province of Treviso, and in particular the area of Valdobbiadene, which is confirmed as the land of winemaking excellence. Note that high quality, when it comes to prosecco, does not mean exorbitant prices, as the most expensive bottle does not exceed 18 euros. The high quality of wine, combined with the affordable price, are the two characteristics that explain the great export success of our prestigious wine in the world.
