FICO the food park in Bologna e Italian Food Academy (IFA) together to promote good food and courses in higher education designed for the restaurant industry and more. A combination that has the ultimate goal of popularizing excellent food and wine and everything that gravitates around it.
FICO and IFA, in fact, have recently entered into a collaboration that has at its base countless professional skills, resources, expertise and experiences destined to be enriched and acquire greater prestige and completeness. And courses organized in close agreement, which will be hosted in such a prestigious temple as FICO Eataly World.
But what is FICO? And what, in detail, will the collaboration with IFA consist of?

FICO Eataly World: the park to enjoy

FICO Eataly World is the Italian Food Theme Park in Bologna. Made in Italy food and wine excellence is obviously the absolute protagonist: in the 26 restaurants and street food (based on pasta, meat, pizza, fish, cured meats, mortadella, cheeses, potatoes, truffles) you can explore the best of food and wine specialties from all over Italy, from Prosciutto San Daniele to Abruzzo's arrosticini, from piadina romagnola to thesicilian haute patisserie, passing through Sulmona's sugared almonds and more than 100 types of wine.

Olfactory experiences and science pavilions are the focus of multimedia rides dedicated to earth, fire, sea, animals and bottle, while the park's extensive green spaces (including the vineyard, olive grove and orchard), during the warm season, allow people to combine taste and fun with the pleasure of relaxing surrounded by nature.

"FICO is the world's first Food Park, which brings the experience of food from its origins to the plate on the table," says Stefano Cigarini, CEO of FICO Eataly World, "stimulating all 5 senses and combining passion for flavors and fun. In short, giving a special day to those who love to enjoy good food and the pleasures of life."

The Park is vast as are the varied activities that take place here.

In addition to B2B events at the Convention Center-already the site of more than 100 conferences and meetings since its reopening-there are many events dedicated to families and food lovers including show cooking, cooking classes, tastings and more.

Everything produced at FICO can be purchased while strolling through the Park, at the factory stores (with the trolley or the practical and fun FICO bike), or at the end of the route, in Eataly's large bazaar, with a 2,000-square-meter assortment that guarantees quality food and wine shopping.

Inside FICO, as per the original project inspired by EXPO Milan, the best of Italian food culture is also represented through 60 operators of the agri-food chain present in the Park, including large Consortia such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano DOP, Prosciutto di San Daniele Consortium, Mortadella Bologna IGP Consortium, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena Protection Consortium and Consortium, Carne Razza Maremmana Bio, large companies such as Italia Zuccheri or small local producers of excellence.
We are therefore talking about a reality of theconscious and sustainable food and wine which now merges with another excellence such as Italian Food Academy. A union, this one, that will kick off high-level training courses hosted in the spectacular setting of FICO Eataly World. For FICO, therefore, no longer amateur courses but professionalizing ones, which will also offer enrollees the opportunity to interact with companies, consortia, brands and high-quality Made in Italy products. A 360° experience in professional training for FOOD.

FICO and IFA: experience, education, taste and ... great events!

Culinary experiences and training courses, tasty tastings and professional preparation-these are some of the trump cards of a FICO-IFA alliance that already has many surprises in store. In fact, partnerships are planned for courses such as Management of food and wine routes, Specialization Course in Molecular Cuisine e Master's Degree for Food&Beverage Manager. A'educational offer tailor-made for the reality of FICO, so as to emphasize the potential and professionalism of both parties, for results that promise to be valuable and of high quality.

Finally, an exciting event is scheduled for February, with good food and Italian excellence as the undisputed protagonist. Ready to participate? Stay tuned and be surprised by an Italian Food... even more FICO!
