In recent times, initiatives that show attention and sensitivity to social issues are increasing, and a solidarity home restaurant. In Rome, the project brings together entities as diverse as Just Eat, Caritas Roma and Pony Zero.
After Milan e Turin, where the project boasts more than three thousand meals served in one year, the solidarity restaurant arrives in the Capital and serves food to those in distressed situations. The philosophy is food right while also avoiding waste.
Also valuable are collaborations with an app for ordering and pony expresses for delivery, as well as restaurants that prepare the dishes and partner with Just Eat. Joining the initiative are about 35 establishments. In the city of Milan alone they are:

The social restaurant in Scampia.
It opens to Scampia, in the most delicate neighborhood of a contradictory Naples, the first social restaurant. For the symbolic price of one euro, a full meal is offered once a month to 120 people living in the neighborhood.
The purpose is not only to "feed" those in need, but also to launch initiatives to reclaim abandoned suburbs with social activities that are aggregating.
An experiment that can be replicated and has all the characteristics to become an example of excellence for the dissemination of the Mediterranean diet and for job creation in deprived areas.
Many associations, including Abili Oltre, A Voce d'e Criature Foundation, Stefano Jovele Association, St. Egidio Community, Camminare Insieme, the MaMu Center, and Pasquale Chiappetti's ChiPa group, initiated the initiative.
