Eataly World presents FICO. Food park opens in Bologna

Everything is ready for the opening of FICO, the park food dedicated to the excellence of theitalian food and wine.
It will open its doors next November 15 a Bologna, 40 days behind the previous schedule. 
Great anticipation for the launch of this project strongly desired by the team of Oscar Farinetti, founder of Eataly. Fico, which stands for Italian Peasant Factory stands on an exhibition area of 10 hectares, 2 of which are uncovered, including fields and stables, with more than 200 animals and 2,000 cultivars.
It will be an important container of the italian specialties, attracting millions of visitors, buyers and stakeholders from all over the world.
Fico will also be an opportunity to showcase the showcasing of the food: a major project rising in a region that has always represented in the world the Italian cuisine.

Fico, in its 8 covered hectares, provides an indoor route of 100,000 square meters, divided into:

  • 40 factories
  • More than 40 refreshment places
  • Stores and market
  • Dedicated areas for sports, children, reading and services
  • 6 educational classrooms, 6 large educational "rides", theater and cinema
  • A conference center that can be modulated from 50 to 1,000 people
  • A foundation with 3 universities

A space to educate

Cool will not only be an exhibition space, a showcase of thefood and wine excellence: it will also be the space for learning.
You will learn theItalian agriculture, the cultivation and processing of products, the regional specialties.
Ample space to the tastings, the catering, events and training, with 50 courses a day in classrooms, theater and teaching spaces. There will also be the museum of rural civilization, workshop and experiences sensory.
For children, there are also play areas, with educational rides dedicated to fire, earth, sea, wine and animals. Plus meetings, congresses and conferences on the latest news, trends and topics related to the food.
Six multimedia experiences, 100 thousand square meters to explore, more than 40 places to taste and more than 100 workshops distributed over an area where taste the products made in the workshop, purchase them and participate in the producer's story.

Excellence is now more affordable

Thanks to the Chef Bonus you can get a credit of up to 6,000 euros for expenses incurred in 2021 and 2022 for your professional training.  

Starting February 27, 2023, it will be possible to apply to the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy for the Chef Bonus.

WHAT IS IT?

Bonus Chef 2023 consists of a 40% tax credit (up to a maximum of 6,000 euros) recognized on expenses related to the restaurant industry for individuals engaged in the activity of professional chef at hotels and restaurants.

TO GET THE BONUS:

- you must have incurred, between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2022, one or more of the expenses deemed eligible for the benefit

- one must be a resident or established of the state territory;

- Applicants must be in the full enjoyment of civil rights.

ELIGIBLE EXPENSES:

- Purchase of durable capital goods (high energy class machinery for food storage, processing, processing and cooking, professional tools and equipment for catering)

- Participation in professional development courses.

HOW THE 2023 CHEF BONUS WORKS

The 40% credit can be used for offsetting by F24, which must be submitted to the Internal Revenue Service. The credit is exempt from IRPEF and IRAP. 

It is also possible to assign the credit with the transfer of the facility to other parties, including credit institutions and other financial intermediaries.
